To hell with burnout!
I read a great book, just published by Tim Lambert. If you have ever suffered burnout, believe you are in the middle of it, or simply want to avoid it, this book is required reading. Tim’s personal story, told in an open and engaging way, highlights how much is in our control even in times of great distress. This book will help you to recognise what is happening to you, guide you through recovery of your inner balance and think through your next steps. At the beginning of the book, Tim urges the reader to take control and not rely on others to solve it for us. ’If you don’t design your own life plan, you’ll become part of someone else’s. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much!’. Highly recommended.
